So this is my first blog entry.

Well I guess first and foremost, I need to explain the Buck thing.

Many of you who see me on TV know me as Andrew Michael, well my full name is Andrew Buck Michael.  My dad, a Purdue graduate, not OSU, wanted to name me Buck at birth.  Yes, he grew up in Darke County on a rural farm, just like I did, but my mom, who was raised in Cincinnati, wouldn't allow Buck to be my first name, so it got bumped to my middle name.  Having gone through college, at Ohio State, and now working at Dayton's News Source, I have ran into many Andrews along the way, and have adopted Buck as my second name.  I still answer to many names, Andy, Andrew, Buck, Michael, AB, ABM, and the list goes on and on, with any variation of those names, and somehow I always answer to them.   Anyways, I guess it is fitting since I am a Buckeye alum and have been a "Buck" since birth.
