Sometimes it doesn't take much to get excited. Earlier this week I had two microphone cables go out on me while out shooting my Where You Live stories. Luckily I caught it before anything bad could have happened to the video I was shooting. Anyway, I took the mic cables to engineering and the gave me them back today fixed. The long 20 foot wire is now cut to 12 feet because there was a kink in it about 8 feet in. Regardless, I have practically new and ready to go mic cables...which makes me smile.
I also had a lot of fun this afternoon with Dawn. We started our gift registry today for the wedding. While it was a very weird at first, I quickly found the scanner my pal...just like John Wayne and his six shooter. We are going back out tomorrow morning for our next store. While it is fun, there is still a TON of wedding planning left to do and it was a nice break. The wedding is just over five months out and it will be here before we know it! YIKES!
Light rain showers over the next few days. We could start out with a light wintry mix for the onset of the system tomorrow midday, but temps will continue rising through Sunday night into Monday morning, so any ice will quickly melt. A strong cold front will roll through Monday night and we could see more....snow. That's right! Right now it looks like the Northern Miami Valley could see a couple of inches, and the Southern part of the area may only see a dusting. I will keep you posted and try to nail down specific numbers for you tomorrow so that way I don't throw anything out that might not be accurate enough. Have a good one!
Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
