Largest School Talk and Cold Forecast

Yesterday I talked to the students from Watts Middle School and according to the teacher it was about 225 students. That would set my record for most students I have talked to at once. Normally when you get that many students in one room they can start misbehaving and not listening, but surprisingly they were awesome and very attentive. The students also had a lot of questions from my schooling, to the green screen, to my favorite parts of the job. I had a lot of fun and hopefully they did too. I am pretty sure they have a few new experiments that they can do at home that would cost less than fifty cents, which everyone loves.

Today will be a little bit of a rude awakening that it is the middle of November. We were spoiled this week with highs of 65 on Monday and 68 on Tuesday. Today we will only warm into the mid 40's. This afternoon and evening we could see a few sprinkles or flurries thanks to a little lake effect moisture. Best chance to see any precipitation will be the Northern Miami Valley. It will only be a slight chance this evening and overnight and tomorrow we will dry out for a couple days. Mid 40's for Friday with breezy conditions and then slowly warming into the upper 50's by the end of the weekend. Rain will return late Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, which will keep our temperatures from warming too much. Taking a look into the future, it appears we will be dealing with similar weather for the next couple of weeks: rounds of rain, not super warm, not super cold...just seasonal. There could be a little snow out there...I will keep ya posted as that may get nearer. Stay warm and have a good one!

Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
