New front axle on the maxi today. It was freeeeeeezing in the garage. Lost feeling in my legs after a while. Also took off the front brake to see how much one season ate away the brake pads. Got about 1200 miles on them so far and less than a third of the way used. I woukd say at least another 2000 miles easily.
Now I just need a few things left on my winter tune-up list: true the front fender, NOS bookrack mounted with taillight mount, and put Maxi pedal shaft on instead of Magnum length. Getting close.
Also picked up my vest from the embroider and it looks awesome. She was a little lazy with the yellow patch... but oh well.
