After a quiet, but humid afternoon, the storms finally fired up just before sundown. You can see the loop from this evening. The Storm Prediction Center has dropped us out of the Slight Risk area, but did keep us in the 2% area for tornadic storms. I am not surprised because some of the storms have had some weak rotation, but then fizzle out.
The storms will push through over the next few hours and looking to stay just below severe criteria. For Sunday we will have a few lingering light spotty rain showers, but nothing to ruin many of your outdoor plans.
Cooler and drier to start the workweek and we will warm things up toward the end of the week as rain returns for Thursday and Friday.
Have a good one!
Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
