Aunt Amanda came to visit for a couple days. She heads off to college in 12 days so she wanted to spend some time with Summer.
Of course that means that Buckeye has to find a new place to lay around at times...
Because Summer and Amanda like Buckeye's bed.
Me? I don't need a bed. With Amanda visiting, I was able to take a couple naps to combat the 1:15AM wake-up call.
Yesterday I made spaghetti sauce from scratch from garden tomatoes. It is amazing how many tomatoes it takes! Turned out delicious.
Amanda went home in the afternoon so Buckeye and Summer and I hung out in the hammock while Dawn was working... Sure was a gorgeous day!
After a few days with a taste of fall, we return back to seasonal temperatures in the mid-upper 80's. Sun to start your Friday, but increasing clouds later in the day with isolated rain possible this evening and overnight. More isolated showers/storms possible Saturday, but since it is isolated, not everyone will see the rain. Slight chance for pop-up showers/storms heading into the rest of the weekend and early next week due to the heat and humidity firing up an afternoon spotty pocket of rain. Have a good one!
