Two cheers for Wednesday!
Dawn went home for her mother's knee replacement, so Buckeye and I got to hang out. He normally doesn't sleep in our bed, but he must have been cold.
Second day in a row with us starting at 4AM with lots of school delays and closings from the snow and cold.
Speaking of cold! Here are the wind chills from 5AM.
Some light snow today, but most of us will see less than 1" of rain. A few pockets will see 1"-2"
Our snowy weather will slowly be packing its bags and moving out of
here through the day today into tonight. We will see scattered snow
showers and areas that see the snow could pick up another 1"-2" however
only a dusting for some places that do not see
the heavier snow showers. Light snow and flurries tonight and skies
start clearing for Thursday with a few flurries lingering. Winds stay
strong the next couple days so single digit wind chills expected.
Blowing and drifting snow will also be a concern with
strong winds out of the west. We see more light snow Friday then drier weather for the weekend, but
much colder with highs in the teens. More snow likely on Monday. Monday's snow could be a big one, but models are not agreeing on the track, so I am not posting snowfall totals yet, and anyone who does is just looking for attention... because I highly doubt they show the lower totals or tracks where it misses Ohio... they only show the snowmageddon. So stay tuned! Have a
good one!
Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
