Summer and I tilled the garden yesterday and started planting. Well... I tilled the garden while she was playing in her bouncer under the tree on the other side of the yard. Then I brought her closer once it was quieter. The reason we started the garden was because the tomatoes were really struggling in the planter and they needed to get into some real soil. I
think we are done with a hard freeze (especially in the city). If we do
get another frost I will just throw some old sheets over the sensitive
plants. Keeping
the peppers inside a little longer. I also planted onions, carrots,
leaf lettuce, broccoli, & cauliflower yesterday.
Last night Dawn and I went to see The Book Of Mormon, the Broadway show that is in town. It is NOT a show to take the kids to go see, but it was pretty comical. And late for me. I am running on less than 3 hours of sleep, but still kicking!
Rain on the way for today, with the afternoon looking like the best chances to see more rain. It will be isolated this morning, but more later.
Rain returning to Central Ohio for today with scattered showers and a
few storms possible. Best chance to see rain today will be in the
afternoon and evening. Rain remains around Central Ohio for Friday and
we cool down into the mid 60s. Dry for Saturday
and Sunday and warming then more rain later Monday. Have a good one!
Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
