We were geared up and ready for Monday night football with the Browns! Great win! We even put up our inflatable defensive lineman in the front lawn. Dawn found it at a yard sale about 10 years ago and it is still in great shape. It appears to have been good luck because we only have won the game that it's up. Gotta get it out for Week 4.
Friday was Summer's preschool field trip to an orchard so we went and picked apples and had a lot of fun on all of the activities.
Quick family photo! Smile Evan! Well at least he is looking toward the camera. He is getting closer and closer to walking, but also teething, so a little more fussy than normal.
We had a wedding for Dawn's cousin in Cleveland this weekend so we traveled up there. I joined a group of trail runners Saturday morning for some outdoor fun at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We started about an hour and a half before the sun came up. Running trails at night is so intimate because it’s just you (and
the runners) and as far as your light will reach. So you are a bubble of
light moving along the trails. Love it.
Getting a photo at night is hard, so I had to wait to get a group shot once the sun was about to come up.
Sunrise on top of the hill was amazing!
Sunset at the wedding wasn't bad either. ;) Dawn and I had a great time at the wedding. I was off Monday since I am now starting a 10 day stretch on the morning show. It was nice being able to stay up late to watch the Browns game, but I didn't put up the inflatable because it was so breezy. I will have to change that for next week.
Welcome to the first full day of autumn! We will still be about three
degrees above normal for the afternoon temps, but at least we are closer
to normal and feeling more like autumn today. We will be mostly sunny
today with highs in the mid-upper 70s. Mostly
clear and cool tonight with low temps in the mid 50s.
Wednesday will start with sun with increasing clouds and a slight chance
for some isolated rain later in the day, mainly west. Highs around 80
for Wednesday. There is a chance for some isolated showers Wednesday
evening that will linger overnight and into
Thursday, mainly early. Highs in the mid 70s by Thursday. The spotty
rain and clouds for the morning will clear out more later in the day. The heat returns for Friday and the weekend with highs back in the mid
80s. There is a slight chance for some pop-up rain on Friday. A better
chance for some scattered showers and storms on Saturday. By Sunday and
Monday we stay warm with some isolated rain
possible as well. It appears the above normal temps will be sticking
around until at least the end of next week. Have a good one!
Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
