Hopefully everyone had a fantastic Mother's Day! The weather turned out AMAZING! Summer had a dance recital at a park and thankfully the rain was all gone and there was plenty of sun.
Saturday we went up to Cleveland for a family gathering and it was actually sunny there too, but cloudy and light rain in Columbus. The opposite of normal. Summer really has taken to baseball!
And now... the nice weather rolls on. I spend so much time outside I have been trying to be more aware of taking care of my skin. You will see me in bucket hats a lot more often. I did a 5 mile run yesterday to Evan's preschool. The garden is starting to come alive and I am excited to put in the rest of the plants later this week once we finally dry out. So far, only the cold crops like lettuce, peas, broccoli, strawberries, and sunflowers have popped up from seed. Planting tomatoes, peppers, onions, and zucchini later this week. Maybe some watermelons or pumpkins too.
This morning we are starting in the upper 50s and then we will warm to around 80 with mostly sunny skies and a few passing clouds. Tonight there will be some rain & storms trying to move from Lake Michigan into Indiana, but not expected to work its way too far into Ohio. We will see additional clouds tonight and for the start of Wednesday, especially to the west. So partly cloudy on Wednesday with morning low temps in the upper 50s and a high around 82. Mostly sunny for Thursday with highs pushing into the mid 80s. A few more clouds Friday with similar temps. Saturday our humidity will start creeping up and we will have about a 40% chance for scattered showers and storms later in the day. Highs in the lower 80s on Saturday. More scattered showers and storms on Sunday with highs in the upper 70s. Monday we cool down into the lower 70s with some lingering rain possible, but drier air moving back into the region. Have a good one!
Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
